Australian Skills and Training Academy

The academy is a training college, providing certification to students for various courses and certification III in electro-technology electrician. For enrollment into this training program students need photo ID and construction induction white card. Requirements for entry are for one to be fifteen years of age at least, should have three years of electrical experience minimum and should have a USI. To enroll into this course, inquiries and applications can be sent at any time of the year.

Apprenticeship and Funding

After fulfilling course requirements and passing recognition of prior learning and being licensed, candidates can opt for apprenticeship. Apprenticeship is a good training program to learn from. Apprenticeships available through Australian skills and training academy are:

  • Certificate III in Bricklaying
  • Certificate III in Formwork
  • Certificate III in Carpentry
  • Certificate III in Floor tiling and wall

Students can enroll themselves in funded training programmes. Following information is required of candidates to provide for enrollment:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Unique student identification
  • Is the student still enrolled in a school?
  • Student’s resident’s information and status
  • What are the student’s achieved qualifications since turning seventeen, if any?? (at school or post school)
  • Is the student registered in an apprenticeship or traineeship or has an intention to do so?
  • Has the student undertaken any other Smart and Skilled qualification this year?
  • Disability update or status of the candidate
  • Where the training will be located
  • Reliable evidence of long term unemployment status (minimum 52 weeks consecutively)

  • Certificate IV in Demolition
  • Washroom, Kitchen and Laundry Renovation
  • Certificate IV in Building and Construction
  • Diploma of Construction and Building

  • Diploma of Business Administration
  • Certificate III in Business Administration

  • Diploma of Counseling
  • First aid

Short courses

  • Managing business finances
  • Builders Continuous Professional Development
  • Work safely at heights

International Students

International students are all the students who are in Australia on student visa. They undertake the training programme as international students. Providing training to international students shows the commitment the training college has towards its agenda about providing training to students in numerous courses. Students taking courses online from across the globe, belonging to different countries are also considered offshore or international students.
